Welcome to the Dungey and McClellan Family website… a place for our family to share and save our personal stories, pictures and history.
After Thomas Dungey married Julia Tann and had their first child, he was sent to America by his employer, Queen Victoria, Monarch of the British Empire and Empress of India. On his third visit for the Queen, he brought his family and settled in Texas learning to farm. But after losing everything in a drought, our pioneer family headed for Gold Hill in Oregon arriving around 1891. He was accompanied by his brother, William and his family as well. His fourth child, Ada, was delivered on the way.
